ok so remember Rafiki? Yes the wise baboon on The Lion King. You all know he's the only reason why you watch the cartoon. Just admit it. Sometimes I will put the movie in and skip to just the Rafiki parts.
Well lately when it is time to do something, or go somewhere, or make a change- Joette and I will talk like Rafiki and quote his favorite line from the movie "it is time" you have to say it with his accent of course. "it is time" and you know if Rafiki says it- it is serious.
so...now that the holidays are officially over, it is time to to reclaim my health. No more excuses and no more ice cream.
So if you invite me over to your house for dinner or we go out to eat and I say no to dessert- or if I eat just the spaghetti sauce and not the noodles- just love me for it.
Tomorrow is the day I start my promise I have made to my body, to mom, to life.

This has nothing to do with your post, but I just saw your comment on my blog. I had no idea you were that close to the base! Crap! Did you know it is free to tour? We would have easily paid $50 for our family to go to any other comperable place. Anyway, now I know and we will be going back . . . maybe the air show this summer. . . and we'll get together.
And since you are eating healthier and all, we won't make sugar cookies. (:
