tulip play

I was going to call this entry "death of tulips" because I had to dig up some beautiful in bloom tulips from my out of control flowerbed. I am converting the flowerbed to a garden....but "death of tulips"? almost sounds like a name of a band-and not too welcoming.

Kenzie and I were enjoying outside while Julia and Gage slept. I think I want to learn how to have a beautiful yard. Leaves, flowers, water, rocks...just very relaxing- so beautiful. Enjoy the slide show.

I'm with you April...I love learning about new plants, what will look good in the yard and all that. There is nothing like a pretty yard to make you feel at home and want to spend time in it!

See you on Friday!

You're grass looks great to me! This is the first year that I have ever 'gardened' and I have loved it so far! Even if it isn't the best yard/garden, I love that I have worked so hard to make it ours!:)Good luck!

Oh my gosh, she is so stinking cute!!! Way to go April on the gardening. The only thing growing in my flower beds this year is weeds. They are so low maintenance. Make sure to post pics when you are done!!!!

I'll have to say I immediately started to laugh at the first picture of Kenzie. I love how her hat is more or less balencing on her head.

I am excited for you, I don't know why home projects are so thrilling, but they are.

I can't wait to have soil someday. I'm so jealous of everyone with yards.
