one year anniversary

One year ago I lost my beautiful wedding ring...it wasn't terribly expensive just very unique and lovely. I miss it mostly when I get dressed up for church or go out with Chay...but it is getting better with time...I still feel sick about it but I remind myself it isn't a determining factor on my relationship with Chay or our commitment with each other- I can be equally happy without it- but oh how vain I can get sometimes...I even bought the ring 6 months ago and financed it...then with guilt I returned it. So let's just all take a quick look at it...and mourn with me for a second or so....ok thanks...your pity helped a little.

I'll hold out hope that you find it someday in a box... I can't believe it has been a year!

I hope you find it, too. All prayers are heard and answered in god's time. When I first joined the church, I bought a quad. I couldn't afford it, and spent way more than I had on it. Conference used to be at the Opera House, and I took my beloved quad with me. I must have left them on my fender, but when I got home they were gone. I was dop sick about it, and cried and prayed that someone honest would find them and somhow they would make it back to me. I also prayed that if the person finding theemcould use them more than me to let them keep thme. I had put my name on the inside of the first page, but we were moving and I did not have a phone. Well, almost a year later I got a call from the librarian at our building stating that some one had turned them into her after trying to find the owners for almost a year.I was new in the stake and know by very few people. I was so excited when I got them back in my possession. God does have a way of answering prayers. I think everyone who reads this should pray that April gats a miracle and finds her ring. Pray everyone...and watch the Lord do his handiwork!!!

I am mourning with you as well. I will pray that it will be returned to you someday. At least you didn't drop it in a lake! :) (In case you didn't know, Rob dropped mine in Long Lake 2 months after we were married... sometimes I think about going scuba diving and trying to find it through the nasty murky water, or going fishing and catching the fish that ate it or something, but I haven't gotten around to doing that yet!) I hope it finds you again. It is such a beautiful ring. Love you.
