baby whisperer

Baby whisperer where are you? Can you explain Julia to me....tell me what she is thinking and who the heck she is?

Julia is almost 10 months and she is just a cute yet weird baby....with crazy hair. I mean she is wonderful and all but she is so unpredictable- I have tried and tried over and over to get her on a schedule and she just resists everything I do. She will at least go to bed at 8 every night but she wakes up sporadically throughout the night- screaming her head off. She is stubborn and whiny and she is wearing me out. She is kind of hyper and all over the place...she is super busy. I need sleep. Crying it out is not helping- she screamed the other night for 2 hours...and my heart was about broken. I can't do this cry it out stuff...I think I am going to call Dr. Laura...

just called her and her line was busy.

Oh April, I know. It is so hard. Being a mom to little ones is so very tiring....it seems like it never ends, doesn't it? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it really doesn't get better as they get older...I feel so sleep deprived this last week. If it isn't Lacy it is Logan. What is up?

Have you read the book "The Baby Whisperer?" That is what I thought you were talking about when I saw the title of your post. I have that book if you want to borrow it, I can bring it when I see you in a few weeks. It is a great book!

Good luck - we are going through screaming fits too...
Lately Gage has been teething and has been 'plugged up'. The other night after trying to soothe him for over an hour, I started to rub his belly and it calmed him down. I think he was full of gas! The combination of that and Motrin seems to work for Gage.

I am laughing so hard at the pics of Julia being all smiley and happy! They can totally turn into beasts at night! It's just not right! I wish I had a magical solution for you. Just use your magic wand and it will all get better!

Yay! April, I finally got my computer fixed so I can officially look at your blog again and comment! It was weird because my computer acted up mostly when I went to your blog and it would freeze as soon as I opened it. Anyway, I am happy we can be connected again! I have missed the laughing, crying, and analyzing triggered by the wonderful words from your blog! So I am happy to be a part of it again! Anyway, I am there with ya when it comes to parenting and sleep deprivation and schedules! You know, now that Enoch is a year he is doing SO much better. I have also been taking Enoch and Haela to this holistic medicine doctor who uses this machine called zyto that enables her to find all the stressed parts of the body. She got a master's in holistic medicine and was a nurse for 20 years and is able to treat my kids with homeopathics. I have really noticed a difference especially in the sleeping. You may want to find some practitioners in your area. It was actually developed in Utah somewhere. Anyway, just a thought--I know you like the natural route and it has definitely helped us.

I think you are lying, how could that sweet, smiley, giggly baby be so naughty at night. Nope I don't believe you, lies, lies all lies LOL
